Air Ambulance Services Ltd, a Bahamian company has become an integral part of the healthcare infrastructure in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, proudly serving the people and visitors since March 1999. We provide fixed wing air medical transport from bedside to bedside and access to emergency, critical and specialized care within The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Islands, and Florida, which would otherwise be inaccessible.

Scope of Services:

The staff of Air Ambulance Services Ltd. are committed to providing high quality medical care, customer safety and satisfaction with an evidence based, protocol driven program and a dynamic staff development and continuous quality improvement process.

The dispatcher reviews each case with the flight care coordinator and medical director and the flight team is chosen according to the patient's specific needs. Once payment has been confirmed we pride ourselves with a less than one hour dispatch.

Air Ambulance Services Ltd. has a comprehensive quality assurance program by which we continually evaluate our services and maintain the highest quality of care of our patients. The medical director and flight care coordinator review all charts and patient satisfaction surveys are mailed out to patients for their comments. Equipment is regularly checked and maintained and there is a comprehensive continuing education program for staff.
